A Digital Overlay is like putting a transparent sheet overtop of your existing page that you have created with Storybook Creater Plus. You can see the swirl designs of the one I have used on this blue page. Without the overlay it was a plain piece of blue paper. If you wanted you could fill the overlay with another colour, another piece of paper, or emboss it like I did here. If you left it alone it would show up in tones of grey on your page.
